Acceptable
Use Policy (AUP)

Need
High Speed Incorporated has created an Acceptable Use Policy
("AUP") in order to encourage the responsible use of Need High
Speed's networks, systems, and services (referred hereafter as the
Network), by our customers.
This policy promotes a secure, and user-friendly environment.
This
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) specifies the actions prohibited by Need High
Speed, Inc. to users of the Need High Speed Network.
Illegal
Use

The
Need High Speed Network may be used only for lawful purposes. Users shall
not use the Need High Speed Network in order to transmit, distribute or
store materials in violation of any applicable law or regulation,
including encryption laws, export rules, or regulations; or that may pose
the risk of exposing Need High Speed to liability. It is not permitted to
assist other users in violating this AUP.
Network
Security |
Attempted violations, and or unauthorized access of system or network or
security devices are prohibited, and will result in criminal and civil
liability. Need High Speed will investigate any attempted intrusion or
modification to the security elements of the Network.
Examples of system or network security violations include, without
limitation, the following:
The
unauthorized use of passwords, or access tokens, the interception or
harvesting of user information or personal user data.
Unauthorized
access to or use of data, systems or networks, including any attempted use
of scans, probes or auditing software designed to evaluate the
vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or
authentication and authorization measures without express authorization of
the owner of the system or network.
Unauthorized
data monitoring or traffic flow modification of any network or system
without express written authorization of the owner of the system or network.
Collecting, Publishing, or system metrics or benchmarks without prior
written consent.
Denial
of service to any user, host or network including, without limitation,
service flooding, broadcast attacks, mail or service bombing, or
deliberate attempts to overload systems or networks.
Attempts to bypass bandwidth shaping
Packet
forging of any header, including but not limited to, TCP-IP, service
tunneling. or any element of the header information in an email or a
newsgroup posting without express authorization of the owner of the system
or network.
Unauthorized
attempts to subvert Network defined routing tables or bridging topologies.
Content
|
Need
High Speed is not responsible for the content of Systems not part of the
Need High Speed Network.
Users are responsible for the content made available from the
User’s Systems and Services.
All content must meet applicable laws related online content.
Access
Termination or Suspension
|
If
Need High Speed determines a user to have violated any element of this
Acceptable Use Policy the User may be subject to a suspension or
termination of service.
If deemed necessary by Need High Speed immediate suspension or
termination of such User's service may occur without notice. Need
High Speed will support law enforcement agencies in any investigative
processes that may arise from violations by a User.
Need High Speed shall not be liable for any damages of any nature
suffered by any User or third party resulting in whole or in part from
Need High Speed's exercise of its rights under this AUP.
